Anchored in peer-reviewed, empirical science, with an original synthesis that bridges the historic divide between the sciences and the humanities.
Dr. Shaleen Kendrick is a neurotheologian whose research operates at the intersection of neuroscience, evolutionary biology, systems theory, relational theory, and ethics. Her work examines how beliefs, meaning-making, and organizational structures physically shape our neural systems—and our capacity to thrive.
She does not invent the underlying biology. Neuro-Relational Integration is a rigorous transdisciplinary synthesis, anchored in established, peer-reviewed science—interpersonal neurobiology, polyvagal theory, and neurocardiology—and translated into an applied model organizations can actually live. She earned her Doctor of Theology (ThD); her dissertation committee included internationally recognized scholars including Thomas Jay Oord, Ilia Delio, Brian McLaren, and Doug Pagitt, and her forthcoming book is under contract with Orbis Books.
Her contribution is one of translation and integrity: naming what the science does—and does not—claim, and refusing the mechanistic "life-hack" framing that treats people as broken machines. The result is a practical, embodied map for adaptive human evolution that leaders, educators, and organizations can trust.

Intellectually honest about what the model is—a transdisciplinary, pedagogical map for human adaptation, never a clinical diagnostic tool.
A "Method of Integration" that demands mutual accountability between empirical science, theology, and lived human experience.
Translates dense, siloed research into an accessible operating system already used by executives, educators, and communities.
Strong HR infrastructure and healthy culture are deeply connected disciplines—but they are not the same discipline. That is why Let There Be HR has named NRI its preferred partner for culture-related engagements: executive coaching, leadership development, team building, trust building, communication, and post-crisis culture rebuilding.
Each firm leads from its strongest area of expertise, and collaborates where the work naturally overlaps. The result is a more complete path forward for the organizations we both serve.

"Great organizations need both strong HR infrastructure and healthy culture. Those are deeply connected disciplines, but they are not the same discipline. This partnership lets us stay focused on what we do best while giving our clients access to a trusted expert in the culture, leadership, and transformation work organizations increasingly need."
~ Kayla Moncayo, Founder, Let There Be HR
